Internet (the contraction of the interconnected network) is a global system of interconnected computer networks that uses Internet Protocol Suite (TCP / IP) to connect devices around the world. It is a network of networkstates that consists of public, public, academic, business and governmental networks ranging from local to global scales, which are linked to a wide range of electronic, wireless and optical networking techniques. The Internet carries a huge range of information resources and services, such as inter-link hypertext documents and World Wide Web (WW), electronic mail, telephony, and file sharing applications.
In the 1960s, the Internet date was created to create strong, fault-tolerant communication with the computer network of the United States federal government. [1] The primary precursor network, ARPANET, initially served as a backbone for the interaction of regional academic and military networks in the 1980s. In the 1980s, due to the new spine of the National Science Foundation Network, as well as private funding for other commercial extensions, worldwide involvement in the development of new networking technologies and the dissolution of many networks. [2] By the introduction of commercial networks and enterprises by the early 1990s, the transition to modern Internet began, [3] and there was a steady growth in the development of the network as a group of institutional, personal and mobile computers. . Although the Internet was widely used by academics since the 1980s, commercialization has incorporated its services and technologies in virtually every aspect of modern life.
